Derived from the original Cafe Table by David and Joni Steiner, the Canteen Table is the perfect meeting come dining solution. With room for up to six people, the table can host small team sprint meetings or lunch socials. It’s also a beautiful home dining table with its discreet, inconspicuous design language. Combine with a Roxanne Chair or Johann Stool to complete your dining set, or add a Vitra All Plastic Chair (available on request) for a splash of colour!
The Canteen Table is easy to assemble and disassemble making it perfect for temporary use or space conscious workplaces. Each leg is secured to the table top with four bolts that can be unscrewed with an Allen key so the table can be stored away as five separate components when not needed.

What makes the Canteen Table different?
The Canteen Table is designed to be manufactured by a network of independent makers all around the world. This is possible thanks to Opendesk’s alternative supply chain - designers share designs for products that can be downloaded and made locally using the latest digital tools.
We call this model ‘Open Making’.
